O R D E R

% 16.03.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file a SLP. The request of the petitioner to the competent authority was rejected vide communication dated 21st December, 2017. A Status Report has been handed over by the State which is taken on record. As per the Status Report, the family of the petitioner comprising of his wife and two minor children aged 7 years and 5 years, is staying with the petitioner's mother-in-law at F-356, Janta Mazdoor Colony, Welcome, Delhi. As per the Nominal Roll, out of the sentence of seven years' imprisonment awarded to the petitioner, only 7 months' sentence is remaining.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has to file the SLP and that he has roots in the society, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner.

It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM. Petition is disposed of.

A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
