The matter is listed in accordance with office note dated 29th May, 2017.

The registry / office, in pursuance to the orders dated 5th August, 2016, 10th August, 2016, 16th August, 2016 and 9th November, 2016, has sought orders providing the full particulars (name and address) of the government department / body / authority in whose favour the amount is to be released.

The presence of Mr. Sanjeev Narula, Adv. for Union of India (UOI) has been requested.

Mr. Sanjeev Narula, Adv. for UOI states that the amount be released in favour of Consolidated Fund of India.

It is ordered accordingly. The amount lying deposited in this proceeding together with interest accrued thereon be released by cheque / pay order in favour of Consolidated Fund of India and the said cheque / pay order be handed over to Mr. Sanjay Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India or to a person duly authorised by him. 6.

On preparation of the cheque / pay order within two weeks of release EX.P. No.235/2006

of this order, telephonic communication be made to Mr. Sanjay Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India to arrange to collect the same. 7.

No further orders are necessary.
