HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIDDHARTH MRIDUL
O R D E R
% 08.03.2016 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the competent authority to release the petitioner on parole, is devoid of merit, inasmuch as, even after being released on parole by this Court by way of order dated 28th July, 2014, after consideration of the circumstance that the conduct of the petitioner herein in jail had been satisfactory during that period, a perusal of the nominal roll qua the petitioner reveals that he has been awarded punishment dated 20th April, 2015 for his unsatisfactory conduct.
Furthermore, the latest punishment is the latest one of the many awarded on the petitioner by the jail authorities.
In view of the foregoing, the present writ petition is devoid of merit and the same is hereby dismissed.
