O R D E R

% 11.02.2017 Parties have mutually agreed to settle the claim of the respondents at Rs.35,00,000/- with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing the petition i.e. 25.9.2008. Appellant insurance company has already deposited 60% of the award amount of Rs.46,61,280/-.

Short fall of the settlement amount shall be deposited by appellant-insurance company with DHCLSC within 45 days and after due verification, same be released in proportion as laid down in the impugned award. In the event, the deficient amount is not deposited with DHCLSC within 45 days, the amount so due shall carry interest @12%p.a. for the delayed period.

Amounts lying deposited with the

Registrar General shall be released to the respondents in terms of the award. Appeal stands settled accordingly.
