This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of nine months from 17.08.2025 for concluding the arbitral proceedings and publishing the final Award. 2.

It is stated that the examination of the witnesses took some time and presently, the arbitration proceedings are at the stage of crossexamination of the respondent's witnesses. 3.

Additionally, it is stated that the respondent's witness was diagnosed with the cancer. Hence, the delay.

Mr. Ali, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the present petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay.
