These petitions are filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A

(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to work pertaining to repair of roads in Railway Colony and Cement Siding at Shakurbasti, Delhi on 14.08.2015 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 679/2025 and work related to provision of new fencing between TKD-PWL section on 23.07.2015 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 680/2025, Petitioner approached this Court under Section 11 of 1996 Act for appointment of an Arbitrator and sole Arbitrator was appointed. It is stated in the petitions that after the initial mandate of 12 months expired, parties extended the mandate of the Arbitrator by six months with mutual consent and the extended mandate has expired on 31.07.2025. The final arguments stand concluded in the arbitral proceedings.

Mr. Om Prakash, learned SPC accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator in the petitions. 5.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by six months from 01.08.2025.

Petitions are allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
