The present petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the State to provide around-the-clock protection to the Petitioner at her residence. Further, directions have been sought for the registration of an FIR against the persons who have threatened the Petitioner. Counsel for the Petitioner fairly states that the relief regarding protection has now been addressed, as the Respondents have provided the contact details of the Beat Officer and the concerned SHO. In the event the Petitioner has any grievance, she shall approach the appropriate authorities in accordance with law.
