The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking directions to the respondents in the nature of writ of Habeas Corpus to produce the wife of the petitioner.

The missing girl, Ms. 'S' is today produced before this Court. Mr. Sanjay Lao, the learned Standing Counsel (Criminal) submits that she is a major and has expressed her desire not to go with her husband. 3.
Upon being queried from Ms. 'S', she submits that she is 24 years of age and has been married to the petitioner for the last ten years, however, at present she does not wish to accompany or reside with her husband/petitioner The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the aforesaid statement made by Ms. 'S', the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. 5.
