The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the CrPC seeks the following prayers: "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may please to allow the present petition: - a. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of on personal bond for two months; - b. Pass any other order or further orders, which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice;" 2.

Learned Standing Counsel, on advance notice, submits that the petitioner's application dated 04.09.2023 seeking parole has been rejected by the competent authority vide order dated 17.01.2024. 3.

Learned counsel appointed by the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the latter is in the process of challenging the aforesaid rejection order. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition has become infructuous and is disposed of accordingly.
