The present application has been filed by applicants / petitioners seeking following relief:

"Permit applicants/petitioners to withdraw the aforesaid writ petition with further liberty to file appeal under Section 18 of NCTE Act and other remedy in accordance with law" 2.

Mr. Amitesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of applicants / petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition. 3.

At this stage, Mr. Anuj Kapoor, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/NCTE submits that withdrawal order in the present case was passed by respondent/NCTE as early as on 03.01.2013 and this fact was suppressed by petitioners in the present petition. He submits that petitioners had, in fact, earlier filed a writ petition before the High Court of Gujarat concealing same fact and had obtained an order for inclusion of petitioners in the counselling process for the current academic year. Thereafter, present petition has been filed before this Court along with various other connected matters to take advantage of interim orders which have been passed in PAR matters, though withdrawal order was never set aside.

Mr. Amitesh Kumar, on instructions, submits that the petitioner maintains that withdrawal order was never served upon the petitioner. 6.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

However, having regard to the submissions of Mr. Anuj Kapoor, noted hereinabove, petitioners are directed to deposit cost of Rs.20,000/- with the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Punjab within a week. 8.

The interim order dated 22.08.2025 qua present petitioner also stands vacated.

Registry is directed to list the matter if the cost is not deposited within the period stipulated.
