The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent nos. 1 and 2 to take action against the illegal and unauthorized construction being raised by respondent no. 3, in property no. 6396, Basti Chitanki, Qasabpura, Sadar Bazar, Delhi-110006. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the photographs attached along with the present petition to submit that the unauthorized construction has been carried out to the extent of six floors in the property in question.

Responding to the present petition, learned counsel for respondent no. 1, i.e., Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), submits that the property The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
in question was not located earlier by the officials of the MCD. However, he submits that the officials of the MCD have been able to locate the property now. He submits that inspection of the property in question shall be carried out within two working days and further action shall be taken after following the due process of law, in a time bound manner. 4.
Accordingly, it is directed that the MCD shall inspect the property in question within a period of two working days. 5.
In case the officials of the MCD face any problem as regards the location of the property, they are at liberty to contact the petitioner, whose mobile number is given in the Memo of Parties, of the present writ petition. 6.
After inspection, in case unauthorized construction in the property in question is found, appropriate action shall be taken by the MCD after following the due procedure, in accordance with law. 7.
The action, if any, against the unauthorized construction existing in the property in question, shall be taken in a time bound manner, preferably, within a period of three months from today.

All the rights of the owner/occupier of the property in question, are reserved. In case the owner/occupier of the property in question is aggrieved by any action taken by the MCD, he shall have the liberty to seek his remedies in accordance with law.

In case requisite action is not taken by the MCD, the petitioner shall be at liberty to revive the present writ petition. 10.
The MCD as well as Station House Officer ("SHO") of Police Station Sadar Bazar, are directed to ensure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question.
