O R D E R

None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. 2.

The present writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for directions to the respondent no. 1-BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, to disconnect the electricity meters bearing CA Nos. 101860098 and 101852722, in the property bearing no. 170, G/F Block-G, Harkesh Nagar, Near Z-63, Okhla Phase-2, New Delhi-110020.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 1-BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, submits that respondent no. 1 was neither a party in the earlier writ petition, nor is a party in the contempt petition, filed by the petitioner.

He further submits that requisite action for disconnection of the electricity shall be taken, at the time when demolition action is taken by the MCD in the property in question.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 2-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") submits that action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question has been planned on many occasions, however, no action could be taken for want of any police force. 6.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent no 3-Station House Officer ("SHO"), Police Station, Okhla Industrial Area, ensures the Court that requisite police force shall be provided to the MCD, as and when action is sought to be taken in the property in question. 7.

This Court notes that earlier, the petitioner had filed a writ petition being W.P.(C) 12854/2018, wherein, by order dated 30th November, 2018, it had been directed that if any unauthorized construction is found to be taking place in the property in question, the same shall be ceased forthwith. 8.

This Court notes that subsequently the said writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn by the petitioner, as recorded vide order dated 20th December, 2018.

Subsequently, contempt petition being CONT.CAS(C) 523/2025, has th July, 2025, MCD has been directed been filed, wherein, by order dated 15 to file a Status Report, and the matter is next listed for hearing on 07th November, 2025.

This Court takes note of the submission made by learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2-MCD, that requisite action against the unauthorized construction in question, shall be taken expeditiously, in a time bound manner.

This Court further takes note of the submission made by learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1-BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, that action for disconnection of the electricity shall be undertaken, as and when demolition action is taken by the MCD in the property in question. 12.

Accordingly, it is directed that respondent no. 2-MCD shall take time bound action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question.

The respondent no. 3-SHO, Police Station-Okhla Industrial Area, is directed to ensure that requisite police assistance is provided to the MCD as and when the same is requisitioned by the MCD, for the purpose of taking action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question. 14.

This Court further directs that requisite action shall also be taken by respondent no. 1, at the time when demolition action is taken by the MCD. 15.

For this purpose, respondent no. 2 is directed to inform the respondent no. 1, as and when demolition is planned against the property in question. 16.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
