The instant contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner in view of the alleged non-compliance of the order dated 22.07.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 9876 of 2024. The relevant portion of the said order reads as under:- "10. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed in interregnum, that the petitioner will be pennitted to continue to study in respondent no. 2 School, as an EWS/DG student, beyond Class V, without having to pay fees. The petitioner would continue to be entitled to the facilities available to EWS/DG students, as has been provided by the School, till the next date of hearing." 2.

Mr. Pramod Gupta, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-school, through his affidavit, has submitted in paragraph no. 4 that the petitioner has been granted admission. affidavit dated 28.09.2024 reads as under:- "That Counsel for Respondent School before this Hon'ble Court in aforementioned case on 25.09.2024 has made a statement that Petitioner would be granted admission in class 5 forthwith, which statement was taken on record by this Hon'ble Court. In compliance with the directions given, Petitioner has been granted admission in class 5 by school 26.09.2024"

Let the affidavit be placed in the digital record of the Court. 4.

In view of the fact that the admission has been already granted, the Court is not inclined to keep these contempt proceedings pending and instead, disposes of the same in view of the aforesaid submissions. 5.
