The writ petition was filed on account of not filling vacancies in BIFR and as a result the Board was not functioning. The problem is over. BIFR is now functioning on account of a notification issued on April 18, 2016. 2.

We dispose of the petition as infructuous but would extend the operation of the interim order dated March 01, 2016 till BIFR decides the application filed by the petitioner in the Registry, which application has been annexed as Annexure-9 to the writ petition. 3.

Since the matter needs an urgent hearing we direct that upon an application filed in the Registry the application (Annexure-9 to the writ W.P.(C) 1792/2016

petition) shall be placed by the Registrar, BIFR before the Board for consideration on a date next week.
