The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents supports the petition. 3.
It is stated by the counsel that the matter is at the stage of crossexamination of the petitioner's/claimant's witnesses. 4.
Counsel for the parties submit that the matter has voluminous records. Therefore, some time would be required to render the Award. 5.
In view of the above, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31st July, 2026.

The period when the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired, i.e., from 30th April, 2025 till today, is also regularised. 7.
