The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents supports the petition. 3.

It is stated by the counsel for the petitioner that the matter is at the stage of final hearing.

Counsel for the parties submit that the matter has voluminous records. Therefore, some time would be required to render the Award. 5.

In view of the above, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31st March, 2026.

The period when the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired, i.e., from 30th June, 2025 till today, is also regularised. Counsel for the parties submit that the learned Sole Arbitrator is yet to finalise his fee schedule.

The learned Sole Arbitrator is requested to finalize the fee schedule and communicate the same to the parties within a period of eight (8) weeks from today, to avoid any disputes in this regard at a subsequent stage. 9.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition along with pending application stands disposed of.
