By this application the petitioner seeks early hearing of the main petition for the reason the next personal contact programme which the petitioner would be entitled to attend is fixed from 20th April, 2018. For the reasons stated in the application, hearing of the writ petition is preponed to today.

Application is disposed of.

By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to prepare and appear in the LLM (Branch-II), Labour and Industrial Relations and Administrative Law examination of Annamalai University scheduled to be held in April/May, 2018.

On a notice being issued reply affidavit has been filed by the SHO, PS Vasant Kunj, North wherein it has been verified that the petitioner is pursuing LLM (Branch-II), Labour and Industrial Relations and Administrative Law vide Enrolment No. 2581401053 from Annamalai University, Directorate of Distance Education. 3.

Due to the issue of transfer certificate issued in the name of the petitioner, on the last date this Court directed the State to verify the facts. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner is entitled to be present at the compulsory personal contact programme 2017-2018 to be held at Chennai from 20th April, 2018 to 23rd April, 2018. 4.

As per the nominal roll, the petitioner has been granted furloughs and paroles regularly. The last parole was granted to the petitioner for a period of 15 days w.e.f. 18th May, 2017 whereafter he was granted four times furlough in the year 2017 w.e.f. 4th July, 2017, 26th August, 2017 and 17th October, 2017. The last furlough of the petitioner extended from 29th December, 2017 to 19th January, 2018 for a period of two weeks. Since there is no allegations that the petitioner misused the concession of parole granted to him, it is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on

parole for a period of two weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Tihar Jail. 5.

Petition is disposed of. Order dasti.
