Present letters patent appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 31st July, 2024 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.(C) 633/2023, whereby the writ petition filed by the appellant-petitioner, seeking a direction to the respondents to release the outstanding salaries of all the employees of the Delhi Waqf Board and to convene board meeting to resolve the crisis prevailing in the office of the Delhi Waqf Board, was The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. dismissed on the ground that Delhi Waqf Board is notified under Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 and therefore, the appellants will have to take their remedies before the Tribunal in the first instance. 2.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the appellant does not wish to press the present appeal. He, however, states that as nineteen months have already been lost in the proceedings pending before the learned Single Judge, this Court may consider directing the Central Administrative Tribunal to decide the appellant's petition as expeditiously as possible preferably within nine months.

Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to the aforesaid directions. However, they pray that their rights and contentions be left open.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, the present appeal is disposed of with liberty to the appellant to file a petition before the Central Administrative Tribunal. It is directed that in the event the appellant files a petition before the Tribunal within two weeks, the Tribunal shall dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within nine months. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open. 5.

In view of the aforesaid directions, the present appeal stands disposed of.
