versus THE STATE GOVT OF NCT OF DELHI & ANR ..... Respondents Through Ms. Manjeet Arya, APP for State Mr. Amit Kumar Dubey, Adv. with respondent nos. 2 to 4
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 21.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 are living in the same locality and are known to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of FIR No. 143/2014 under Sections 354(A)(1)/323/341/34 IPC at police station Pul Prahlad Pur on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the intervention of common friends and their family members, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent nos.2 to 4 are present in Court along with their counsel. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and
without any undue force, pressure or coercion and they have no objection in case FIR is quashed. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 to 4 to this effect are also on record.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos.2 to 4 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 143/2014 under Sections 354(A)(1)/323/341/34 IPC registered at police station Pul Prahlad Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
