Petitioner has filed a guardianship petition and in the present petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, he seeks to highlight the issues where any such child, whose custody is being sought, has to be interacted by the Court. It is submitted that wherever, so required, learned Judge, Family Court should take services of the domain experts like Child Counsellors and Psychologists as envisaged under Family Courts Act, 1984. 2.

It is also contended that the interaction with such child should not happen in open, else it may result in some unintended embarrassment to the parties and to the child. It is suggested that such interaction should rather take place in chamber.

It is submitted that there is no standard protocol or guidelines in this regard and such crucial aspect of interaction of the Court with child cannot be left ignored and there should be some uniform guidelines or practice directions.

After hearing Mr. Mehta, who appears in person and at his request, the present petition is directed to be treated as representation on administrative side which be placed before learned Registrar General of this Court so that it can be submitted before the learned Building, Maintenance, Construction and matters relating to the working of Family Courts Committee, for consideration and directions, if any.

Present petition stands disposed of accordingly in the abovesaid terms. 6.

However, since petitioner is pursuing a guardianship petition also, in case, he is aggrieved by any particular order passed in his petition or in case he wants his case to be transferred to some other Court, as he now submits, he would be at liberty to file appropriate petition in this regard.
