This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR no. 128/2022 registered at PS Hari Nagar, Delhi under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC. 2.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and states that she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR basis of settlement arrived at between the parties on 17th November, 2023 before the Court at Shri Ganga Nagar. 3.
The settlement amount of Rs. 5 lacs has been received by the respondent no.2.

Counsel for petitioner appears through VC and so does the petitioner, duly identified.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 128/2022 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Hari Nagar, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
