The petitioners, who are aspiring to join the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) pursuant to the advertisements issued between 2021 to 2023 of different posts including Sub-Inspector, have approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:- "i. Issue direction to the standing committee of Respondent /CISF at CISF Headquarters may decide the correctness/antecedents of the documents produced by the Petitioners, showing their Proof in support of the fact that no case/FIR is pending against them, within Four weeks as no cases, whatsoever, are pending against the Petitioners herein and;
ii. Pass any such other or further order (s) in favor of the Petitioner as deemed fit in the given fact and circumstances and in the interest of justice."

Issue notice.

Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice and submits that the petitioners' cases will be shortly put up for consideration before the Standing Screening Committee.

In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the respondents, we dispose of the present petitions by directing the respondents to ensure that the cases of the petitioners are placed for consideration before the Standing Screening Committee within a period of six weeks. 7.
Needless to state, in case, the petitioners are aggrieved by any order passed by the respondents, it will be open for them to seek legal recourse, as permissible in law.
