Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in view of the judgment passed in Mohinder Singh (Dead) Through LRs and Another vs. Narain Singh and Others reported in 2023 SCC OnLine SC 261, an effective remedy may not be available to the petitioners qua the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 and as such, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file an appropriate representation before the concerned authority. 2.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the petition along with pending application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty so sought, granted.
