The application stands disposed of.

The present petition is filed seeking directions that the petitioner be provided security from the alleged illegal acts of Respondent No. 3.

The petitioner claims that Respondent No. 3, who happens to be his neighbour, has kept a Rottweiler dog who has created terror in the neighbourhood.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint in that regard was given to the Police and no action was taken.

He submits that since the petitioner has been taking objections on the aggressive behaviour of the dog, certain people at the instance of Respondent No. 3 came to the house of the petitioner at 01:30 AM in the night and caused criminal The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. intimidation.

The learned Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that the complaint was, in fact, received and a NCR was also recorded. He submits that the complaint has been forwarded to the higher authorities and appropriate action would be taken without any delay.

He further submits that a letter has already been written to the MCD seeking their clarification in regard to the guidelines for keeping a Rottweiler dog as a pet.

He fairly submits that phone number of the Beat Officer would be provided to the petitioner's counsel and the petitioner would be at liberty to call the Beat Officer as and when he apprehends any threat to his life and liberty and, as and when any such call is received, appropriate action would be taken forthwith.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court(s) in case any grievance remains in future.
