% 25.08.2025 1.
In this petition, petitioner seeks to be considered as part of the survey carried out by respondent no.1/New Delhi Municipal Council ('NDMC'), claiming that he has been squatting in Sarojini Nagar Market and basing his claim on certain challans which form part of the petition. 2.
At the outset, it is stated by counsel for NDMC that the survey was completed on 31st July 2025, and the review period, which was from 7th August 2025 to 21st August 2025, has also concluded. 3.
Mr. N.K. Sahoo, Advocate appearing on behalf of petitioner, on a query, does not state that there was any representation filed prior to 6th August 2025, i.e. before the closure of the survey. Noting this, he states that in any event, his representation may still be considered. 4.
Counsel for NDMC states that, without prejudice to the fact that the survey is already complete, the representation of petitioner will be consider in accordance with law.
5.
It is made clear that this Court has neither expressed the mind on the merits of the matter nor issued any direction with respect to the inclusion of petitioner in the survey.
6.
However, in case, there is a subsequent survey or a mop-up round which is initiated for any reason, the representation of petitioner may be considered in light of the same.
7.
Petition is accordingly disposed of.
