This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 872/2007 dated 28.11.2007 registered at PS Shakarpur, East District, Delhi under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC.

During the pendency of the proceedings, parties have arrived at a settlement dated 24.07.2023 before Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma, wherein they have decided to settle all their disputes. 3.

Petitioner is present in Court and is identified by Ms. Pushpa Yadav, Adv. Respondent No. 2 is also present and is identified by SI Kavish Rana, PS Laxmi Nagar.

Parties state that they have arrived at the settlement out of their own free will without any threat, pressure, coercion or undue influence. 5.

I am of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the FIR any further on the ground that the parties have arrived at The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. a voluntary settlement and settled their disputes. 6.

I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure ends of justice. The Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to continue any further. It is a fit case for quashing. 7.

In this view of the matter, FIR No. 872/2007 dated 28.11.2007 registered at PS Shakarpur, East District, Delhi under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC is hereby quashed.

The petition is disposed of.
