The present petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter the 'Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request.

It is stated by the counsel that the arbitration proceedings are listed for final hearing in the month of September, 2025. 4.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate is to expire on 30th September, 2025.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended for a further period of six (6) months from today, till 31st March, 2026. 6.
