W.P.(CRL) 560/2018 Petitioner is seeking parole. Learned counsel for the State, who has put in appearance on advance notice, points out that the petitioner has been on parole for a continuous period of 8 weeks and which lastly expired on 13.02.2018. It is admitted position that a fresh parole petition has been filed by the petitioner before the Competent Authority on 15.02.2017. Learned counsel for the State assures this Court that this application shall be taken up and answered preferably within an outer limit of three weeks in accordance with law Noting the factual position, this petition is disposed of in the above terms.
