This application has been filed by the Petitioner seeking condonation of delay of 25 days in filing the present Petition. 2.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. 3.

The delay of 25 days in filing the present Petition is condoned. 4.

Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the Order dated 09.05.2024, passed by the Family Court, Dwarka, in Case No.285/2022, fixing interim maintenance @ Rs.10,000/- to be paid by the Petitioner herein towards the maintenance of his daughter.

A perusal of the record of the Family Courts reveal that interim maintenance was arrived at on the basis of rough and ready calculation looking at the earning capacity of the Petitioner and the Respondent herein and also looking at the school fee and other expenses of the child. 7.

Since the impugned Order only deals with interim maintenance, this Court is not inclined to interfere with this Order. However, this Court is inclined to request the Family Court to conclude the matter as expeditiously as possible and pass the final orders within one year from today. The Family Court is directed not to give unnecessary adjournments to either side. 8.

With these observations, the Petition is dismissed, along with the pending application, if any.

It is made clear that this Court has not made any observations on the merits of the case and has not interfered with the impugned Order only because it pertains to interim maintenance and not final maintenance.
