Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for has been filed by the Petitioner for directing the Competent Authority to consider name of the Petitioner for pre-mature release in the upcoming Sentence Review Board („SRB‟) Meeting.

Status Report has been filed on behalf of the State, wherein it has been stated that Petitioner is eligible for pre-mature release and his case has also been sent to SRB Branch, PHQ to place before the Sentence Review Board for consideration.

A copy of the Status Report be supplied to learned counsel for the Petitioner through e-mail during the course of the day. 4.

Since the prayer made has already been answered, nothing more survives in present Writ Petition, which is hereby disposed of with pending Applications.
