% 23.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 are known to each other as they reside in the same locality. FIR No.1083/2015 under Sections 354D/268/290/506/509 IPC was registered at police station Hari Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is submitted that with the intervention of family members and common friends, respondent no.2 and petitioner have now settled their disputes in terms of Memorandum of Understanding dated 21st February, 2018. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Anju Tyagi of police station Hari Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
