On behalf of the applicant on the other hand, it is submitted that his signatures were obtained on 4-5 blank papers by the Investigating Agency, which is refuted on behalf of the State.
BAIL APPLN. 424/2018
As per the status report submitted on record and the submissions made in the FIR, the allegations against the applicant are serious and detailed to the effect that he inter alia was one of the persons who had cheated 14 persons i.e. the victims, who sought to go for jobs at Singapore whose passports were taken away and that they were duped of a sum of Rs.30,80,000/-.
On behalf of the applicant, it has been submitted that he has allegedly taken only a sum of Rs.97,000/- and that he is willing to return the same, which is refuted on behalf of the State submitting to the effect that the applicant has allegedly received a sum of Rs.11 lakhs from the persons. Apparently custodial interrogation in the instant case would be required. There is no ground of grant of anticipatory bail and the application is rejected and the interim protection granted vide order dated 21.02.2018 is withdrawn.
