% 21.02.2018 Petitioner no. 3 and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are related to each other. Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are friends of petitioner no. 3. With the intervention of their common friends and family members, petitioners and respondent no. 3 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR no. 76/2011 under Sections 365/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Govind Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is minor and is being represented through his father, that is, respondent no. 3. Respondent no.3 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Raju of police station Govindpuri. Respondent no. 3

submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and he has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos.2 and 3 voluntarily, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice both the FIRs, that is, FIR no. 76/2011 under Sections 365/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Govind Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
