% 16.03.2017 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.448/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 323/ 452/ 506/ 120B/ 34 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station - Mianwali Nagar.
The complainant is present in Court. He is identified by the Investigating Officer.
The parties have arrived at a settlement on 06.01.2017, which has
been placed on record. The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of his own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.
Respondent No.2 further states that he has no grievance against any of the accused, including Naresh Garg, who has not been impleaded as party petitioner.
It is seen that Vinod S/o Hukum Chand is also named as one of the injured in the FIR. He is also present in Court. He is identified by the IO, who is present in Court. He also states that he does not wish to pursue the case any further against the accused persons, including Naresh Garg. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
