By way of the present petition, the petitioners are seeking following prayer:

"a) Allow the present Writ Petition and direct the Competent Authority to consider name of the Petitioners for pre-mature release in the upcoming Sentence Review Board Meeting"

Issue notice. Mr. Amol Sinha, ASC (Crl) accepts notice on behalf of the State.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the competent authority has not yet decided the application filed by the petitioners for grant of pre-mature release, hence the present petition be directed to be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioners. 12.

Considering the prayer made before this Court, the respondent/ competent authority is directed to ensure that the names of the petitioners herein are also sent for consideration, before the next scheduled meeting of the Sentence Review Board.
