The present writ petition impugns order dated 14th September, 2024 passed by the District Magistrate, Shahdara, rejecting the Petitioner's eviction application under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the Rules framed thereunder. Against the afore-noted order, the Petitioner has a statutory remedy under Rule 22(3)(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules, 2016 by preferring an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner. The Petitioner has exercised her remedy and preferred an appeal which is pending consideration. Mr. Rishikesh Kumar, counsel for GNCTD apprises the Court that Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS, Principal Secretary (Finance) has been conferred additional charge of Principal Secretary (Revenue)- cumDivisional Commissioner. 3.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with the Petitioner to now approach the appellate authority of the Divisional Commissioner for redressal of his grievances.

All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. The Petitioner's request for urgent hearing shall be considered by the Appellate Authority. 5.
