The present petition is filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, supports the case of the petitioner.

Counsel for the parties submit that the matter is at the stage of recording of respondent's evidence.

In view of the above, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of one year from today.

5.

The mandate of the Arbitrator is stated to have been expired on 25th March, 2025.
