The matter is taken up today as 28.05.2026 was declared a holiday on account of 'Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)'.

It transpires during the course of hearing that the Divisional Commissioner has disposed of the petitioner's appeal filed under Rule 22(3)(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

Pursuant thereto, the petitioner has filed a writ petition [being W.P.(C) 6452/2026] assailing the order passed by the Divisional Commissioner. The said writ petition is pending before a co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

In the circumstances, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition; the same is, accordingly, disposed of. Pending application also stands disposed of.
