This petition seeks directions to respondent for providing adequate security to the petitioners, who are facing threats from respondent no.4, real uncle (chacha) of petitioners, who had sold a piece of land to petitioners' father for due consideration and is now extorting money from them. It is stated that there are a number of FIRs registered against the respondent no.4 including proceedings under MCOCA Act.

Petition is disposed of with directions to the counsel appearing on behalf of the State to provide the numbers of the Beat Constable and the SHO concerned for them to communicate with in case any threat is perceived.

The ASC for the State submits on instructions that Beat Constable is already visiting the premises of petitioners to keep a check. Petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions and the Beat Constable shall continue to make periodic visits to petitioners' address. 5.
