This petition is filed basis allegation by the petitioner that she was married to respondent no.3 in 2021 and has been staying in matrimonial home since. She complains of various allegations of torturing by the husband and family over the period of time. On 17th March 2024, she alleges that respondent no.3 along with respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 held her hands and feet and forced her to drink acid.

On this, ASC states on instructions that investigation had ensued and complainant-petitioner herself had stated that there was no such incident and she had accidently consumed something noxious. 3.

According to counsel for petitioner, she is now staying at her parental house since 17th March 2024.

Needless to states that in the event petitioner seeks further investigation or insists on registration of FIR, she will be at liberty to approach the competent Court and seek appropriate remedies in that regard inter alia under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C.

Besides, the counsel appearing on behalf of the State shall provide the numbers of the Beat Constable and the SHO PS Dayalpur area, where parental home of petitioner is situated, for her to communicate with in case any threat is perceived.

Petition is disposed of with above directions. 7.

Pending application is rendered infructuous.
