The present Appeal has been filed by the Appellant under Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, 1984 assailing the order dated 14.07.2025 passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in HMA No. 587/2020 captioned Shivam Kumar vs. Priya Rani., whereby the Family Court directed the Appellant to pay pendente lite maintenance of Rs.7,000/- per month to the Respondent, after noticing that the Appellant is highly qualified and that his monthly expenses are to the tune of Rs.25,000/-.

Learned counsel representing the Appellant submitted that the Respondent is highly qualified, as she has completed her Masters in Computer Applications (MCA).

There is no evidence to show that the Respondent is gainfully employed.

The maintenance awarded by the Family Court is a meager sum of Rs.7,000/- per month.

Hence, this Court finds no reason to interfere with the Impugned Order.
