The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking first spell of furlough for the year 2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though no application is annexed with the present petition, but he has instructions to state that the application seeking furlough was given in the month of June, 2025 to the concerned authorities. 3.

He submits that the said application is required to be decided within a period of four weeks in terms of Delhi Prison Rules, 2018.

The learned ASC for the State at the outset submits that the application, if any, filed by the petitioner would be duly considered within a period of four weeks, if not already considered.
