On the last date of hearing, the petitioners were directed to implead other injured persons as parties in the present case. In this regard, the applications are on record.

For the reasons mentioned in the applications, the same are allowed and the amended memo of parties, filed along with the applications, are taken on record.

By way of these petitions, the petitioners seek quashing of cross FIRs, i.e. FIR bearing no. 568/2020, dated 05.07.2020, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 506/324/341/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter „IPC‟), and FIR bearing no. 569/2020, dated 05.07.2020, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/354(B)/506/34 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Dabri, Delhi. 5.
The petitioners and the respondents in the respective petitions are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Dabri, Delhi. 6.
Briefly stated, on 05.07.2020, due to misunderstanding and temperamental differences between both the parties, the aforementioned cross FIRs were registered against the respective parties under the relevant sections.

It is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Settlement Agreement dated 13.11.2024, entered between them. 8.

aforementioned FIRs, who have been identified by the concerned IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated that the parties have a matrimonial dispute as well and the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. The complainants in both the aforementioned FIRs further state that they have no objection if these FIRs are quashed.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIRs and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIRs in question. 10.
Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 568/2020, dated 05.07.2020, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 506/324/341/323/34 of the IPC, and FIR bearing no. 569/2020, dated 05.07.2020, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/354(B)/506/34 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Dabri, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of. 12.
