The present application has been filed seeking following relief: "[a] direct the Respondent/Pharmacy Council of India to forthwith comply with the order dated 26.09.2025 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P. (C) No. 13047 of 2025 by passing a reasoned order on the Petitioner's application for approval of B.Pharm and D.Pharm (60 seats each) for the academic year 2025-2026;"

Dr. G. Siva Bala Murugan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the respondent/PCI in batch of other matters has given a statement that they will be filing a miscellaneous application before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India seeking extension of timeline. 3.

said purpose.

Mr.

Ajay Kumar Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent/PCI on instructions, submits that the respondent/PCI shall be moving miscellaneous application before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 9048/2012 titled as Parshavnath Charitable Trust v. AICTE & Ors. for extension of timelines for grant of approval/extension approval, for compliance cum appeal as well as for admission/counseling process.

He submits that the names of the petitioner in the present petition will be included in the said miscellaneous application. 6.

In the above backdrop, he urges the Court to adjourn the present matter to await the outcome of the MA which the respondent/PCI is proposing to file before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 7.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner will be at liberty to file affidavit stating that it will fulfill the requirements as per the regulations, on email ID: appeal.pci@gmail.com.

In the event, the Hon'ble Supreme Court allows the application of the respondent/PCI, the PCI will consider the application of the petitioner afresh for the purpose of grant of approval/extension of approval, in light of the affidavit filed by the petitioner.

The aforesaid email ID shall also be notified on the official website of the respondent/PCI.
