The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 20231 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 19732) seeks quashing of FIR No. 0489/2014 dated 6th May, 2025, registered under Sections 420/467/468/471/120B/34 of Indian Penal Code, 18603 registered at P.S. Govind Puri.

After nearly a decade from the registration of the FIR, the State has completed the investigation and filed a closure report under Section 173 CrPC. In view of the above, and without entering into the merits of the 1 "BNSS"

matter, while reserving the rights and contentions of the Petitioner as well as the complainant, this Court is of the opinion that no directions are presently required. The Petitioner shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law, should the closure report not be accepted by the Trial Court.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of along with pending application.
