Petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his complaint pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Mahila Court-01, North East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that multiple adjournments are being taken by the respondents and the case is not proceeding.

This Court exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India cannot direct the Trial Courts to give preference to one case over the others. If the conduct of any party is leading to delay in adjudication, the request for imposition of a cost or appropriate order can be made to the concerned Court, however, no directions can be passed by this Court.
