% 28.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue wherein petitioners assaulted respondent nos.2 and 3 in a heat of rush. This incident led to registration of FIR No.

21/2012 under Sections 323/324/506/34 IPC at police station Tilak Nagar, on the complaint of respondent no.2.

During the investigation, Section 325 IPC was added. With the intervention of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent nos.2 and 3 are present in Court and has been identified

by ASI Vinod Kumar of police station Tilak Nagar. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They have no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos.2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
