% 20.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 1358/15 under Sections 356/379/34 IPC registered on the complaint of respondent no. 2 at police station Janakpuri may be quashed.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Pramod Kumar of police station Janakpuri.
She submits that matter has been settled between her and the petitioner before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts on 3rd December, 2015. She further submits that their marriage has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual
consent dated 6th September, 2016 passed by the Family Court, West, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. She states that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 1358/15 under Sections 356/379/34 IPC registered at police station Janakpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
