W.P.(CRL) 585/2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 288/2014 under Section 376 IPC registered at PS Chandni Mahal, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.4 on the ground that parties have settled the matter.

Since the FIR has been registered for offence punishable under Section 376 which is a serious offence, this Court finds no ground to quash the above noted FIR on the ground that the parties have entered into a settlement and have got married.
