% 11.07.2017 IA No.7514/2017 This is an application under section 151CPC seeking a direction to the Registrar General of this Court to release the amount of Rs.27,91,676/- alongwith interest accrued thereon, deposited with the Registry by the petitioner pursuant to order dated 25.4.2008 to respondent No.1. It is submitted that pursuant to an Award passed by the learned Arbitrator dated 27.12.2007 (as modified on 23.1.2008) the petitioner preferred the present petition under section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. This court vide its order dated 25.4.2008 at the time of issuance of notice had directed the petitioner to deposit the said amount with the Registry of the court. The said amount was directed to be kept in interest bearing Fixed Deposits. Needful was done by the petitioner on 23.5.2008. As the objections to the Award have been dismissed on 17.11.2016 the present application is filed.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he has no objection to the application. Accordingly, same is allowed. Registry may release the deposited amount alongwith accumulated interest to respondent No.1. Application stands disposed of.
